The IQ and exclamation mark appears whenever a CIQ app or watchface has crashed.

What’s the fix on this problem?
Connect the watch to a computer running Garmin Express, then remove the offending CIQ app.

Hi all i have garmin 6x and recently the watch face is showing the same IQ! ... i have uninstalled the watch faces like data lover and others... the error goes away but as soon as i install another watchface the error comes back... any ideas on how to solve this and allow me to install the 3-4 different watchfaces that i want ? thanks
Try rebooting the watch before you reinstall any watch faces, and then do one at a time.
On the f6x, long press the upper left button for about 20 seconds and the watch turns itself off. Then turn it back on
