Bug with body battery

Where can I report the bug with the body battery or does Garmin already know about this?

At least once a week I have to restart my watch because the body doesn’t show the correct reading. This morning for example when I got up it showed 49 and said my body battery increased 6 points over night. I thought that seemed low so I restarted my watch and now it shows body battery at 76. When I look in GC app (IOS) it shows the new number of 76 but still shows it only increased 6 points in the description but in the charged screen it now shows +42.

HI there, if you do hard reset or restore defaults, it wipes all of the body battery information and gives it a random value that is typically higher than the previous. Doing this this device lost all of the learned Body Battery info. So after that first day it goes down while learning the person.

Based on movement and HR data at night you may not get a lot of charge. If you sleep on the watch or you aren't feeling well many things can cause it to not charge at night. This is shown as stress for the night. High stress all night prevents the body battery from charging.

Hi, I am not doing a reset or a restore to defaults, I am simply restarting my watch by long pressing the A button. This has been a bug for as long as I’ve had the watch (since Nov).

Also, my stress levels are always super low, like under 20 almost all day long. The only time stress goes up is when I am working out I think.

Are you ignoring power off on the device?

No. Just find when the watch acts up that’s the best way to fix things as powering off doesn’t always work.
You can see from the screenshot I attached what it’s doing.

Basically are holding the A button and letting the screen go black?

Yes, holding the A button for about 10 seconds.

That is resetting your device. If you have been doing this often the device is having to consistently relearn your body.

Oh I see. It retains all of my settings when I do this. What all does it wipe out or reset besides the body battery?

That type of of reset will not delete settings but the soft reset it messing with the hr and body battery.
