Controls Menu doesn't working pressing button A

I still have this problem on my Venu SQ since I update my watch last week and now I can´t turn it off.
How can I restore this setting just pressing button A the 2 seconds.

Other people have run into this too after an update. Try holding the A button for 10-15 seconds past the “emergency notification” screen until it powers off, then briefly press A to power it back on. …

I do exactly the way you said (just have to inform before my emergency contacts that Im ok and I was just restarting my watch)

Glad it worked! As long as you don’t let go of the button at the emergency notification, it won’t notify your contacts.

Had the same issue on my "Venu 2". While it helped to get the controls menu back it had a drawback. Almost all my steps done in that day were lost. Looks like only those synced with mobile remained.

Thus my advise is - force sync with the app before powering off.
