Google voice assistant issue

I updated my venu3 to latest firmware (13.19) just a few minutes ago and I was happy to read in changelog report "Improvements to Voice Assistant interactions with various Android phones"

  1. My happiness stopped just later to have a long press on central button of my V3 SmileJoy

I've not any ideas about to solve it.

In others post, anyone suggest to unistall Google app in Smartphone and don't update it to last version. I done it but without solutions.

Last idea is to perform a factory reset to V3 but I'm almost certain that it no works.

Any experiences about? Advices?

  • I bought mine through Amazon and was able to return it for a refund with no problems, due to the defects in the advertised functionality. I had the Venu 4 all set up before I returned it and that was not an issue. Just do a factory reset before returning it. I went to an Amazfit Balance 2 and so far it has performed pretty well (and it was actually much cheaper than the Garmin). Some functions are MUCH better than the Venu 4 and a few are a bit quirky and as not quite as good, but all in all, I'm reasonably satisfied with the Amazfit. I would still prefer the Venu, but until Garmin get it's act together, I will not be buying any of their products.

  • I went with a Pixel Watch 3 to replace mine. Battery life has been decent, I can charge when I shower in the morning, go a full day, sleep track, and then do a GPS workout the next morning and still have about 30% battery left, charge back up while showering. And the newer Watch 4 has a longer battery life. Garmin is definitely better for fitness tracking, and Pixel has a static beginning of the day Readiness score as opposed to Garmin's ongoing Body Battery. But for me the "smart" features make this a much better watch for me. Things like Calendar management - I can delete calendar entries from the watch and I can see the title of the next event on 3rd party watch faces, tons of available 3rd party faces (I must have at least 30), and talk to text for responding to texts. Also the on watch keyboard is really useable. 

  • I'm going to sell my venu 3 (because Amazon Italy told me that I could return my venu 3 only in two weeks from buying) and pass to a Balance 2. But the factor that stop me is the ability to synch all activities, rest, sleep monitoring, body charge, stress and others beetween my two garmin deeice s (venu 3 and Edge 1040) on Garmin Connect app/web. Instead If I buy a balance 2, I should synchronize all manually.
    I've completely lost all hope of a solution from Garmin, and it's truly ridiculous that they've disappeared like chicken thieves. Shameful.

    Can you give me any advices about the pass from garmin connect to zepp health and in particular if you have my same need to synch data acrros the differents platforms?

  • If you're is still under warranty, contact Garmin (I logged into my account and started chat with technical support). They were willing to refund my money for the watch purchased at Amazon (they required a proof of purchase and would have me send them the watch). This was in the US but will probably also with in Europe.
