How do I roll back my Venu 3 firmware to 9.27?

I upgraded to 10.08 in the beta program.  It now says to roll 10.08 back to 9.27.  how do i do that?

  • The customer service is useless. This is what they  replied when I asked how could I go back to the live version…«they do not tell me that type of information.». What kind of answer is that?

  • That's pathetic! Speaks very badly about the brand he's representing as an employee.

  • Finally got updated to SW version 13.17. Ecg app works now, so I guess I should be off the Beta finally. But for some reason I still can't transfer call audio from the phone to the watch. So the only way to get it on the watch is to answer the call via the watch, but if you answer the call via the phone there is no way to transfer it over to the watch. Used to be a button right by the speaker button. I know with beta there was issues with call audio, but I thought now that I'm off beta it will work again, but doesn't so far. Maybe I need to reset it and. Re pair it with the phone? I hope not

  • Hi JoeyRub - There are a number of variables regarding how phone calls get routed and they vary based on whether it is an iPhone or Android. It will probably be substantially easier to figure out why the call isn't being handled by the intended device if you reach out to Garmin Support for the most efficient and detailed assistance

  • Garmin are changing - they are more money focused than ever before and seem to be losing touch with there users - Connect+ and the complete lack of empathy towards there users (unless you spend 1k for your device). The prices of there devices have gone crazy (they have always been hight but worth but now....) and now they are hiding features behind a paywall.

The Venu 3 is not a cheap device (there are now better devices out there for less money) and for them to have such a dismissive attitude to it and its users is terrible! I have been using Garmin for 30 odd years and have owned so many devices from them but now I'm thinking that they are no longer worth the considerable outlay they are demanding, especially when you factor in there dismissive attitude to there "everyday" watches.
