I think I have all the settings correct, but the watch does not speak the pace every mile during a run. Any advice?
I'll try the factory reset and see what happens before contacting support
Mine is set to kilometres but should work just the same; announces pace and distance every km.
Maybe there's a bug when it's set to miles. I'll try it on km.

I've checked all my settings again and they're fine. Still no auto announcement of stats at every mile
I guess it’s time to contact garmin support, I would try a reset on the watch first as this has helped me with ‘glitches’ on past garmin watches.
I have factory reset - lap stats are announced at each mile during a walk. Need to try the run tomorrow.
A factory reset worked. The announcement is still very quiet, despite being on full volume. Could the max volume level be increased please.
