Delayed Notifications?

Is anyone else experiencing delayed notifications on their Venu 2 Plus? I've been using this watch for a little over two months now. My phone is a Google Pixel 6.
Notifications never show instantly for me. It usually takes 3 to 5 seconds for them to show, sometimes longer.

I have turned off all battery saving options for the garmin apps. I've also tried turning off adaptive battery. Nothing seems to work.
I had a first generation Galaxy watch before this and didn't have this issue, also paired with the Pixel 6.

Does anyone have a solution for this? 

  • I had the OG Venu, and bought the Venu 2 Plus in May. I've never had instant notifications on either. It's frustrating when compared to how fast notifications came through on my Fossil watches in the past, but I've learned to live with it.

  • Same problem.. Also caller name is delayed.. I hate it compared to my old Amazfit. Great watches but horrible software Disappointed

    • What is the Garmin Connect app version?
    • Which smartphone are you using?
    • What is the OS version?
    • Do we have permission to email you?
    • May we access your Connect account?

  • I have noticed this as well - not sure if it was from when I first got the watch, but certainly for several watch firmware versions.  It takes a few seconds (3 to 5 maybe?) from the time I hear the notification sound on the phone until the watch notification fires.  Not a huge deal for me - maybe just a bit annoying.  I have/have had a couple of Wear OS watches and they do fire the notification at virtually the same time as the phone.
