How likely are we to get the ECG function activated?

Seeing as Garmin just had their ECG app approved by the FDA, how likely is it that it will be activated on the Venu 2 plus? Seeing as the developer software seemed to have a version of it initially surely it will be pretty easy.

Or will that most likely be reserved for the venu 3?

I have a Venu 2 plus on the way (upgrading from venu 2) I would use it occasionally if I could (in UK).
According to DC rainmaker, to set up you have to be in the US (GPS fix), VPN only won't work! for UK/EU, we have to wait (a few years I think)

UPDATE: I 've got the new venu 2 plus and the ECG working in the UK (installing "from" the virtual USA), great feature !

How close are you to the border? You only have to be in the U.S. to activate it. Then you can take it anywhere and it will still work.
