New Beta software for Venu 2 Plus has been released. Full change log, instructions, and software for installing the beta can be found in the link below.

Change History

Changes made from version 8.12 to 9.14:

Added new sport profiles for Tennis, Snowshoeing, Pickleball, and Padel
Added support for syncing step goal streak with Garmin Connect
Added support for syncing resting heart rate across devices
Added Run/Walk/Idle detection to the activity summary page for running sports
Fixed an issue where invalid distances could be shown on the golf front-middle-back page
Improved the user experience for incident detect and assistance
Improved a variety of aspects with sleep detection
Added voice assistant volume slider to settings
Added additional voice assistant and Bluetooth calling improvements
Fixed a bug with music not pausing when voice assistant is activated, and will now resume after the assistant is finished
Fixed a bug where users could get stuck on the call page if the phone did not respond to a hang up attempt

Hi, I see a separate Voice slider now but don't see a slider called Voice Assistant.

Hi Giovanni. After 8.12 update (including 9.11) accuracy of Spo2 readings has gone worse. I was quite content with the oxygen saturation readings out of the box but after updating to 8.12, now it always measures at least %2 lower than usual. We tried it on different family members but the result doesn't change, always lower.

However, if i perform health snapshot, spo2 starts low but goes to normal range quickly.

I have had 2 instances where the screen went black after trying to use the Google Assistant to read my messages. The only thing that would restore it was holding the A button long enough to turn the watch off, then restarting. I reported it to the beta ID,

What about open swiming?

Courses would by best thing to add..

Open water swimming is only available on higher end devices. There are other tings involved like batch HR updates from external HR sensors like the HRM-Swim, HRM-Tri and HRM-Pro as well as some "Smarts" in GPS for having the watch under water much of the time.

Invoking the assistant brings up the phone call screen, this just started happening today. It was not doing this yesterday. The call screen then stays on, when I choose hang up it goes away, but then trying to invoke the assistant brings up an error message “voice assistant is not available during a phone call”. I think I remember @Scott reporting this pre-beta.
