I had to set my scale aside for a period of time while my living space was being renovated. I stored it upright on its side. When the work was completed, I am unable to see anything but a couple of pixels on the screen, even after fresh batteries and factory reset.
Any remedy, or is this unit toast? Does the unit fail if stored on its side?
