Is my new index scale DOA .. it shows Err4

Hi,

I'm 99% this is a dead unit but I wanted to post the Err4 thing in case others come across it.

Out of the box with fresh batteries and it shows Err4. Hitting reset or changing the weight units does nothing and the app can't connect.

I couldn't get it working.

No response on the forum, I contacted the online retailer and a replacement unit was arranged.
