For any users that are seeing what they feel is an incorrect Body Fat % on their Index S2, please respond in the below format to help us investigate this.
I'm having the same issue.
Tanita Ironman Scale Body Fat 10.5%
Withings Scale Body Fat 12%
Garmin S2 Scale, Body Fat 20% (Activity level 9), 24% (Activity level 6)
I’m having the same issue as you. Same reading same three scales. Funny cause I go to is always the Tania since it has the hand measurements as well. I am not 20% body fat. There has to be an error in…
Hope it's allowed to post here Garmin Index S1 too?

Same issue with my scale. Have it for 2 days.
Tanita about 20% Garmin about 30%. Also manualy caliper close to 20%, little less.
Sent mail to garmin support.
Activity level 7.
Also I'm not sure that muscle mass and water are OK.
You can use all my data if you want.
I'm sure that result is wrong for min 10%.
Should I send scale back?
Please support case :)

Hello Amber, Hope you are well. We have not heard any updates from you. We are wondering whether to return the scale as our period of return is running out soon. Please advise.
Look forward to hearing what Garmin suggests. Return or will something change/be fixed soon?
Regards

Index S1 display exactly 7-7.5% as seen from a years worth of measurements
I had a DEXA Scan done and the Garmin says 7%, the DEXA scan says 20.5%.
Activity class set to 1, 5, 7, 10 in garmin connect makes no difference.
Still wondering what is happening with regards to these issues? Do you suggest we all return the scales? Did we buy dud scales or is there something wrong with the algorithms?
Please could you respond so that we know.
Thanks
Do you suggest we all return the scales
In my opinion, the scales are all to be returned, next week I'm going to send mine and I want my money, even because this problem has come from version 1, so it has been going on for a few years, and apparently never have been resolved, again Garmin at its best
Any update? As you can see, several of us are on the verge if simply returning our scales. Is there a turnaround time? Is this a known issue, or brand new? Information will be appreciated.

I’m comparing to Garmin Index scale (the previous version). Old scale 12% versus S2 scale 25% (same activity level 8)
I also have had professional measurements which came in at 13%
