Vector 3 with Rally conversion kit - use as single on two different bikes?

I have a Vector 3 set on my Zwift bike and I just ordered the Rally kit to use on my trail bike.

If I buy a set of dumb spindles can I use them as two sets of single side power meters?

Swapping them out often seems like it would be painful.

I don't think you can.

I think the V3 only transmits to the Head Unit from one side, I could be wrong.

Correct only the left pedal will talk to the head unit. A right pedal will only talk to a left pedal. You cannot use the right pedal stand alone.
