Hi,
my Vector 3 pedal always stays awake. It never goes to sleep mode.
Anytime I go near the untouched bike with a bike computer, it immediately find the pedal. Even the bike was not touched since hours.
This issue has of course a dramatic impact on battery life. Just a few days after battery replacement and battery is empty again.
I use the same tyoe of VARTA batteries as it was originally delivered with the pedals.
Workaround is that I always remove the battery after rides.
Firmware version is 3.80. Issue was experienced earlier, firmware update did not solve the issue.
It might be worth to mention, the pedal was purchased as a 2 sided system (Vector 3). Now I have only use it as single side system. The right pedal information have been removed in the pedal settings.
Has anyone an idea about the problem and how to fix it?
Is there a way to hard reset the pedal or something similar to test if it may be a software issue?
Additionally, in Garmin Connect I have following Firmware Information shown: Version 0
