Once the software is on the Edge and the Edge is in communication with the pedals you should get a prompt to install the update. If you don't, then go down to the senors details for Vector and you should see an option to update the software. Does this option show 3.15?

Sometimes the file transfer upload to the Edge is not completed until you properly eject or un-mount the drive. Try transferring the file to your Edge again. Be sure to use the 'eject' feature on your OS to disconnect your Edge and only unplug the USB once the OS signals it is ok to do so.
Hello guys! Using Edge 1000 software 14.70. yup I unmounted the edge before disconnecting the USB. Will retry tomorrow.
I just tried this and it went OK. I had 14.6 on my Edge 1000 previously so it had to upgrade itself to 14.7; then I had to add the pedal I used for testing because it was not one I had previously used. But once the Edge found the pedal, it indicated the new firmware availability right away, and the upgrade itself went smoothly.
If you continue to have issues with this, try removing your Vector pedals from the Edge's sensor list; power cycle the Edge, then re-add the Vectors to the sensor list.
I am struggling to update my Vector 3S as well. Tried everything that has been suggested and made sure that the Edge 520 is fully ejected. I have re-paired my Vector 3S with the 520 Head Unit but still I cannot force the software update. I have attached a copy of the RemoteSW folder from the Edge 520, to see if there is anything I need to delete. I did notice a file from 8 Feb which I think was SW 3.0. I removed that but then re-added it as I did not know if I still needed that or not.ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1328001.png
