Right Pedal not re-pairing

Working with tech support on what sounds like a similar issue, which device are you pairing the pedals with? Have you ever seen a message on your device that says pedal missing?

I have got this message a few times and when I do the left pedal starts flashing green 3 times if I turn the device off before repairing the right pedal the left pedal will continue to flash green I would assume until the batteries run out.

If you in the states I can give you the two names of the technicians i've been working with if needed.

Sounds like the same thing. Pairing with Edge 820 or Mobile device with Garmin Connect.
The "right pedal missing" message appears when you first switch on and try to calibrate.

I am in the UK, I guess if you have a case number i can open a new one here and refer to it.

It's been slow getting it to the case number state since I have been the only one to report it I am using the 820 as well and right now they have me logging my rides with the my 820 and 935.

what are you logging? Just power form the left leg! Wonder what they are hoping to see from that...

They are wanting to know if when I see that message if its on both devices and if I ride with out repairing the right side what shows up in the data. I think I might also give them some insight from the FIT file since the event should be logged.

I think it's most likely an Edge 820 thing I had my first set of pedals sent back under warranty for alternating red and green lights, it's like the pedals thought it needed an update from the Edge 820 this one is real annoying, there's nothing like getting all ready for a ride and having to spend the next 10 minutes trying to get the pedals to reset.

I just experienced the same issue with my new set on Friday :(

Had the alternating red/green lights again this time it was at about mile 54 of a 70 mile ride I continued the ride with the pedals flashing a code so I am hoping the fit file will show whats up. If anyone want to look at the fit file I am willing to post the file.

Is the problem fixed? I'm having similar problem.

I just got my V3 and installed and played with it last night. I too got this problem intermittently. Notice the graph attached. its either my right foot is very stable or the pedal disconnected. (which i have seen the messages a couple of times)

Also I should report that there are times when I am at the Cycling Dynamics screen/page and the right pedal is reporting power but the pedal offset and power phase does not change for the right side. it stayed from 0-180 angle and 0-0 offset for the duration of the ride. This happened until i dismounted and let the device sleep for a couple of minutes. When I got back on the bike it reads the power phase and offset properly then. Not sure if its a pairing issue or software issue?
