As someone who has the Vector 2s, will the cleat for the 3s be compatible with the 2 pedals? I ask because I was hoping to move the 2s to my trainer bike. Then use my shoes with the 3 cleat on both setups, road and trainer.
Are the Vector 3 cleats exactly the same as Look Keo cleats? All my road bikes have Look Keo pedals and I do not want to have to need a dedicated shoe/cleat for the Vector 3 pedals.
The Vector pedal bodies will take a Look cleat or a Look compatible cleat. The cleats that Garmin provides have the same engagement points as a Look cleat, but are a little different to make them easier to walk on. There is no need to use the Garmin cleats if you don't want to.
With the cleats being almost the same as look could on buy the Vector 3 dual-sensing system and put one pedal on each bike. I ride 2 bikes a lot during the week and it would just save switching. Put left pedal on the tri bike and the right pedal on the road bike. Would there be any problems with this. I'm under the impression that each pedal sends its own signal to you head unit. Thanks for any input.
FYI I have had great results with the Wellgo RC-7 cleat. If you can wait for slow shipping, they are ~$12 on eBay. There are 0, 6, and 9 degree float options available.
I purchased a pair of vector 3 pedals on Black Friday. At the moment all my bikes have Shimano SPD-SL pedals and all my shoes have the SPD-SL cleats, so I am planning a move to Look compatible pedals. I will replace the Shimano pedals with Look KeO 2 max or Look KeO Blade pedals, so in the end one of the bikes will have the vector 3 pedals and all other bikes the Look pedals
What is your recommendation for the cleats? Should I get the Look KeO Grip cleats or vector 3 cleats to all my shoes? How well do the vector pedals work with Look cleat?
I don't like the idea of one dedicated shoes for the vector 3 pedals, so all my shoes should be compatible with all my bikes.

I think I already found the answer. According to this cyclingtips article the vector/exustar cleats are the best for look pedals too.
