Pretty much any movement behind the bike now triggers the device.
I did not see this occur during the first few uses.

I use more on mainly rural roads where getting alerts from approaching cars is really useful. As I am moving it never picks up false positives from people. I can see how in a location where your are stopped…
Anything of sufficient mass, moving towards you, will trigger the radar.
I've had it trigger when moving my bike backwards towards a wall.
Not much you can do about it.
