What is the "time remaining" field on Strava live segments referring to?

I have noticed that the "time remaining" is often longer than the time on the segment itself initially. Is there any way to change this field to make it the "time behind" field that appears on other Garmin devices. TY.

    thanks, am I safe to assume if you set a GOAL and have it at the top, then you are racing against your goal?

    Well you def helped me with another thing.

    I found that the size of the GOAL time next to the G was so small on my screen ex -0:51 which was even hard to see the neg or positive symbol  but now that you showed me the TIME BEHIND field, that matches that number so all I have to look at is that VERY LARGE data field. 

    Would be nice to be green if ahead but let's not push it.

    In the example above the time being is 1 sec off the -51 goal above but does not matter. It matches pretty much
