new "German" Edge 830 with Firmware 5.20 ?

In the German Facebook Group about Edge 830 there are some Users who get from their dealer a complete new Edge 830 with Firmware 5.20 .

Is this possible?

Last known not Beta Software for Edge 830 is Version 5.10 ?

What Software Version is this? Is it a Beta or is it a regular Firmware?

I've just received my Edge 830 from a UK store. It's also 5.20.

Pebbleheed , can you please send the requested GarminDevice.xml File because i don't have the Edge 830 with that special Firmware.

I only found information about this Firmware in the german facebook 830 group.

Actually what I wanted was the file off a unit that was being offer 5.00 by Garmin Express instead of build 5.10.

Bought the 830 in the Netherlands and also 5.20 version

Having spoken with Garmin, any unit built in the last few months will be shipped with 5.20 on it.
