After update my Garmin Edge 820 not boot and is stuck en the Garmin display!
The displays only on when I connect it to usb in the laptop. Without yhe USB cable not responds anything, not turn on. And the batery is supose 100% full.
I already tried the factory reset pressing start+lap+power on/off with the usb cable connect to my lap and only turn off the display and not restart it.
Any recomendation?
I can get to this screen only and only with the USB cable connected to the computer. Without the cable nothing turns on.

Could it be the battery that stopped working? Worked well!

What I did was to open it again, I didn't want to open it for fear of damaging the screen but I had no choice. I did it very carefully with heat obviously.
I uncovered it and proceeded to disconnect the battery for about 40 minutes. I reconnected everything and wallaaa, it turned on and started as if nothing had happened. All information is intact.
Before sealing it again I am going to empty the battery and charge it to 100% to see what happens.
