My last ride disappeared from Edge while I was trying to sync it with my phone over Bluetooth , is there a way to recover?

I recorded a ride today on garmin, saved fine and saw the stats on the edge history menu.

later tried syncing to my phone over Bluetooth to upload on Strava (was a nice ride Télégraphe/Galibier from St Jean) but it simply disappeared from edge. Very frustrating!

Thanks for your reply. I recovered a .fit file with Recuva but am not able to upload it, seems corrupt. Can it be fixed?

The syncing process doesn't (normally) delete the activity files.

I suspect the "process" might have deleted the file because it was corrupted.
