Sleep Mode

After pressing Stop, did you save the ride ? If not try do to a start and it may offer you to resume instead of starting a new ride. If it does that tells you that you didn't save properly, then stop and save it. 

Also you talk about Sleep but do you confuse that with Power Saver Mode ? That is not the same thing at all. Usually the device want to go into Power Save Mode when the battery is at 10%. 

Hi Martin, yes I saved the ride. I can see it in the history log on the device. When I tap on it no details come up. When I try to sync from my phone the ride doesn’t load at all. When I turn the device on it doesn’t offer to resume ride. 
good question about sleep and power save. I was pretty tired by then and I thought it suggest sleep mode. The screen was blank for rest of the ride if that helps.

Can you try a manual upload of the ride to Garmin Connect Web?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. It might be corrupt. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

 it didnt give me an option to zip but this is the file. should have 125 mile ride on it
