Garmin Edge 820 inclinometer

The inclinometer is quite often wildly inaccurate but occasionally works fine. Any idea what the problem is and if it can be fixed?

AFAIK the native gradient field works off GPS elevation, which is pretty noisy. There are two IQ apps that I use which use the baro sensor and are much better.

They are Altimetric Gradient and Sensible…

AFAIK the native gradient field works off GPS elevation, which is pretty noisy. There are two IQ apps that I use which use the baro sensor and are much better.

They are Altimetric Gradient and Sensible Grade. They agree pretty well with one a little slower to respond than the other.
