eTap found

Hi there,

820 shows gears, cadence (Sram with Q.)... All things are working perfect.

HOWEVER, during rides, "eTap found" with beeping sound would pop up every 30 seconds.

How do I stop this annoying notification?

That happened to me as well. If I remember correctly, I removed and added my eTap to the list of Garmin sensors and it resolved the issue.

It might have something to do with oddball communication issues between the group and the Edge device. The eTap falls 'asleep' if no shifting is done after 30 seconds. It's a power save config to keep batteries alive longer. Maybe it's related to that.

Anyways, your post is 25 days old, so possibly the new firmware version (which also added 12 speed eTap compatibility) fixed the issue.
