Navigate to Address

I went to navigate to an address (which i haven't used for a long time) the other day but couldn't find where to do it. Looking at the manual it states: "Navigation>>Search Tools>Addresses". I don't have that option, I only have POI Categories, Cities, Coordinates.

Just wondered if anyone else has this? Is it something that has gone wrong with 820v8 or maybe something missing on my device?

You must have the Garmin Geocode Map activated along with the Garmin Cycle map. Do you?

Ok, so I seem to to have lost the GEOCODE MAP as its not in the list. Do you know what the file is called? Can I download it from anywhere?

The Geocode map is in file gmapgc.img and must be in the ..\garmin folder on the SD-card, together with the files gmapgc.gma and gmapgc.unl. If they are not present anymore you can try to re-install the whole Garmin Cycle Map bunch through Garmin Express - 9 files total: gmapdem, gmapgc and gmapprom, all as .img, .gma and .unl trio.
If this does not work, contact Garmin for help.

I had this issue with my 830 and reinstalled the maps via Garmin express app and it now works fine. super frustrating

I'm using Samsung and experience the same issue as you. It makes me frustrated these days.
