Edge 530 widgets removed

How did you get weather and notifications as data screens?  Do I need CIQ data fields to make that happen?  (I know I'm not helping your issue, but appreciate the insight all the same...)

For my they were since day one. Just connecting the phone with gaming connect. Now they are gone

Well, that is curious.  I came from an Edge 130 where weather and messages were the last two data screens.  I just bought the 530 about a month ago and weather and messages are only available from the status page as you are experiencing.  I don't understand the step backwards from the 130, as you are now experiencing as well.

Same. From the 130. Only reason I upgraded was inreach connectivity. But devices with older firmware had those screens. Terrible from Garmin. 

I have raised a support ticket with Garmin on the Edge 530 for this.

Try going into GCM, you may be able to add the widgets back from there if they are not showing on the widget list on the Edge.

The "Notifications" widget is in GCM, but it still doesn't appear as one of my data pages.  I have to go back to the status page or drill down through the menus to get to messages.  It makes the notifications nearly worthless as it is so many button pushes to get to them.  Thanks for submitting a support ticket, this would be a win to have this fixed.

Did the 530 ever have a weather and inreach option. I went back to build 7.00 and don't see it.

Maybe they only appear if you are paired to phone and an inreach unit.

On the 530 the weather page is not added as a widget page

When you pair to GCM it adds a line to the the home widget page that you can select see the weather 

InReach is the same. When paired it adds a line to the home page widget that you can select
