Ascent remaining

At the beginning of the tour the navigated course shows a remaining ascent which is double the real value as shown in the saved tour. What do I do wrong? At the end of the tour the value gets to 0 so it also reduces by the increased delta value.

I have noticed if you are routed on trails the ascent remaining is way wrong. We rode 20 miles on the KatyTrail ( it is dead flat ) and it showed 1500fr remaining On other rides it seems to be correct…

The ascent remaining function depends on the quality of the course data.

How is the course you are using being created and loaded on the Edge.

My course is created on ridewithgps Ascent remaining on the 830 / 1030 is always much higher than ridewithgps shows as well as more than the 830 course summary page.

I have the same problem on my 530. The total ascent is correct when I create the course on Garmin Connect, but the remaining is always 2x higher on the device

I didn't check lately. Are you using latest firmware?
