5.50 not on Garmin Express

Its a phased rollout... currently at 10%

I know, its frustrating. I've already refreshed Gamrin Web Updater 10 times :)

I was under the assumption it was phased on GC mobile but on garmin express it usually is there as long as you get it there. At least that is how I remember it. 

Interesting virtual ride is in the notes. I dont use zwift and a TrainerRoad user but wonder what it is. 

In my limited experience I've always only got notified of an update closer to wards the end of the rollout... Garmin Express, WebUpdater, or over Wifi on the unit itself.

I'm just holding thumbs for a stable software, as the last two betas introduced random restarts and sensor disconnect/reconnects mid ride. Little to no evidence of sensor data loss, so the reconnection must have been quick.

Been a long time garmin user with multiple units and must have changed the GE workflow. All good though and have been lucky with my devices for a long time with them just working. 

Two days later and my unit has still not updated.  This is poor!

Would be nice if they also provided a download link like they do the Beta software. 

How has it been 2 days when the announcement thread was 1 day ago?

Just speculating: maybe the phased rollout of 5.50 has been halted, because some issues have been found that weren't detected in the long beta phase preceeding this update? Something like Strava changing their APIs (wrt. Garmin Edge's Live Strava Segments?), without previous notice and with no grace time? developers.strava.com/.../

strava might be impossibel but on the other hand, strava had problems for month

Went for a ride this afternoon. Ride synced over GE, update then installed. I guess this time I was in the lucky 10%.

Just got off the phone with Garmin.  As of right now, they are only at 20% roll out.  It is really a shame the beta testers who have filled out bug reports aren't getting priority in the queue to upgrade to the released firmware.
