Hi all
Well I received my new 520 looked nice. Connected to laptop to charge and set up Garmin express, Garmin connect
etc.. Battery charged to 100% on guage. Disconnected from laptop Garmin beeps and switches off.
Then when trying to power on splash screen appears then a feint power button symbol appears unit beeps and powers off:confused:
So I thought lets try a mains USB power adapter.. plugged in and it works but soon as you unlplug fro mains beeps and
dies..
I contacted Garmin support who showed me how to format the Garmin drive, replace the base map file and reboot. This
did not fix anything.
Also reflashed firmware using Garmin Webupdater but this also made no difference.
Don't think there is much else to do so It's time to box up and send back:eek:
