Garmin 510 not syncing

My 510 has not synced via Garmin Express for a long time and now it's stopped syncing via my phone.

A quick search shows me that the newer models have the similar problems.

Garmin Australia have not been able to fix my issues so I'm left wondering why on earth I would consider upgrading to a newer version if they have the same problems.

TIME TO CHECK OUT WAHOO BECAUSE I'M OVER THE LACK OF RESPONSE OR WORTHWHILE SUPPORT

Are you using an iPhone? I have just upgraded to IOS 13.2.2 and have been unable to Sync today's ride. Have tried unpairing, deleting the app and reinstalling everything but it doesn't help.

Yes, using an iPhone but the uploads were happening fine for a while after the software updates. I contacted Garmin directly and they said that the problem is within the Garmin unit. Offered me an upgrade to 520 for $140 which I've taken up.

Yep, I’ve just contacted them and they offered me the same. Tempting.

It seems they are aware of the problem.

I've had syncing issues for ages from my unit to Garmin Express which Garmin could never resolve and I found that frustrating. The 510 has been great in every other way but if it weren't for the reasonable trade offer I would have moved to Wahoo.
