I followed GPLama's process to load a favorite route onto my 520 so I could use it to control resistance on my Kickr Core as a virtual ride. However, I find it much harder to ride the route on the trainer than on the road. Others report that indoor is typically harder than outdoor, but this was ridiculous; some gentle climbs had me standing on the pedals just to turn them over. I think the elevation noise in my 520 contributes to the problem - it creates peaks that just aren't there. However, even starting with a route created from a Strava map put short climbs into a gentle descent.
Has anyone else experienced similar effects in this process?
