Seeing all the issues with version 8.0 I've decided not to update my Edge for now.
However it seems to want to do it anyway, I can't connect to Garmin Express without the update putting itself on the Garmin. Easily deleted, but how can I choose not to do this in the first place, anyone know? It only happened because I had deleted my maps temporarily so there was room for the upgrade to put itself on there.
Related to that, now that I've put my maps back on and there's no space, I'm getting endless buzzing on my phone from Garmin Connect saying there's not enough space to install the update. Literally every minute the phone is connected to the Garmin it buzzes. I don't want to disconnect Bluetooth as then I won't get text messages, etc.
Not sure if this is an Edge or a GC "feature" but how can I make Garmin Connect stop trying to install the update on my Edge?
