PC Can't Detect Edge 520

I've been charging my Edge 520 via a micro USB cable plugged into a wall outlet in order to avoid downloading version 5.30 upgrade. Earlier today, I noticed that software version 6.0 upgrade is available, so I plugged my Edge 520 to my PC via the same micro USB cable. The 520 turned itself on and started charging. However, my computer was not able to detect it. Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks.

Just for kicks and giggles, I plugged my backup Edge 510 into the same USB port on my computer, and my computer was able to detect it just fine.

It was the micro USB cable. Tried a different one, and it connected just fine.
