I'm really happy with firmware 3.0 - almost perfect for me. But I hope it won't be the last update. Bug: Power Off = Crash & Reboot.

Feature request:

+1 for:

tomha - We will release future updates to the Edge 130 and we do report issues to our developers that come from the forums.

I want to update my Edge 130 manually. Do you know where I can download the firmware as an gcd-file? http://gawisp.com/perry/ doesn't seem to host the firmware...

I just received my 130 and my main use case for buying one was for the Extended Display option. When paired with my watch, however, the top 2 data fields are mandatory and cannot be changed (timer and lap time). Can the firmware please be updated to allow full control over these data fields?

If it is mandantory for you - take the chance and send it back. Nothing has happened since 3.00 rollout. I do not expect anything to get soon. Garmin does not focus on such "cheap" devices.

A feature request rather than a firmware change.

A redesigned usb cover.

My cover snagged when using the Garmin 1000 mount, but spotted it and managed to reseat it. However, a week later I must have snagged it again because now it is missing. The rubber cap sat slightly proud of the case, hence it caught the mount when it was twisted on.

I'm not sure if it is possible to get a replacement?

JanSwanwick - We do offer a replacement USB cover for the Edge 130. I would recommend contacting Product Support to get a replacement.

Duplicate post but wanted to put it in this thread, as well:
Installed FW 3.20....let the whining begin :p So manually inputting elevation number is the best solution and only option we can get here? How will this work with multiple starting points with different elevations? Is auto calibration overridden/eliminated now?

Is the erratic battery level indicator back with 3.2?

Fully charged the unit on my laptop and the next time I switched on the edge it was showing 80% (actually 4 bars as we still don’t get %). Holding the menu button to access menu items then returning to home screen saw it back at 5 bars.
Went for for a ride with fully charged unit, after 25 minutes it showed 4 bars.
Good to see the fix for segments when navigating courses and we now have a means of calibrating the altimeter. In fixing these have Garmin managed to re introduce an old bug? Anyone else seeing this?
