it looks like that Training of the Day on Epix 2 and Edge 1040 are not exactly the same, on Edge i have a Base Training for 1:17:00 and on my Epix 2 for 1:14:00, so they are not synced together?

Garmin Germany telling us: As a Garmin Bike Computer Owner you need a Garmin Smart Watch:

But it don't work so!
this Difference comes for sure of

Why there so big differences in the Daily Training of the Day sugegestions?
On Epix 2 i got yesterday a Anaerob workout with 6x1:30@280W
and on the Edge 1040 a Anaerob workout with 6x1:30@180 240W
So Recovery time was equal on both devices, FTP is the same on both devices, so i started the workout on my Edge and i wondered during the workout why the intervals are so easy, they wasn't anaerob, more a little bit of easy vo2max intervals?
They use different algorithms because the watch uses training load 2.0 and the edge version one. One of the things DCRainmaker criticized on his Edge 1040 review.
getting different recommendations seems logical. Even funnier: I have a run set up as a race so my watch won’t give me any riding recommendations until then, the edge still does.
explains these extreme differences, but Garmin claims that you need a Garmin watch for all metrics on the Edge to work that are based on resting heart rate.
When is Garmin thinking of updating this on the Edge as well?
To be honest, I expect that from such an expensive devices!
