New Garmin Edge anytime soon?

I've not looked at devices since 2019 (found my invoice)  when I purchased my 1030 so TBH I don't know what is out there. 

My battery is probably 30% (rough guess) more drained than when new. I don't empty it out on a ride but normally once batteries start to lose charge like this they get worse. 

This is depends on the country. Garmin in some countries are not present directly. Instead they use a local authorized reseller. So they will be the "king in the kingdom".

Even if it is no under warranty and screen halo would be refused then there is a fix cost replacement for the cases when it was fallen accidentally. ~20-40% (not sure exactly) of the original cost maybe (whatever was the frist price when they started to sell it)

Garmin 1040 will be released the first week of June.

Weekends ride battery was doing 10% per hour which is fine for the majority of rides but it's a significant drop.

I bought mine 1030 about four years ago "second hand" from a pro rider. The battery still can hold 13+ hours ride in multiple days sequence I really never tried how long until shot down, but for sure the radar battery shows empty first.

Yes, I like toys as much anybody else here in the subforum, but me personally cannot justify buying a new unit over this 1030.

btw, I would have more need for the radar+camera unit, but a $$$
