Garmin Edge 13.40 FW problems

Hi 

Today after 30 km PWM disconected , Varia radar disconnected , when I tried to enter in the menu , Garmin froze, then reboot, then HR disconected ...then back connected after 10 km

I am keen to do further  troubleshooting at 40 km/h 

Its very nice to see Garmin programmers at their higher level of ....(you can put any word here)

    dropouts on 530, 830, 1030 and 1030 plus.

    Mine froze on saturday after 95 km when I tried to stop navigating, after a hard reset the Edge started working again. On sunday I rode 100 km without problems. I like my Edge 1030 but I don't trust it.

    I am buying electronic bike devices for 3 reasons

    1.Battery

    2.reability and trusting in actual recording

    3.aditional functionality/functions 

    When 1030 was released, for a long time it ticked all 3 bullets , but now it fell short on the second tick

    I've done two rides with the new firmware and experienced no dropouts or any problems at all. Varia has stayed connected the entire ride.

    75 minus into a training session both heart rate and cadence sensor froze, but the 1030 continued recording the speed and route logging. Stopped the gps logging when completed the session and then the 1030 found the sensors.

    Same happens to me , but mine frozen on the menu screen when I tapped profile 

    Next day it was ok , but it was shorter ride

    I’ve been struggling with dropouts for a considerable time, probably since one of the 9.x firmware updates. Some rides everything drops out several times every minute for most of the ride. Next time out and it’ll only happen a couple of times through the whole ride. It’s the same set of sensors every time but some rides are way worse than others. I’ve given up on using smart headlights as it was getting dangerous when it went out on dark roads. It really is a poor situation as it’s clearly been an issue for many users for a long time.

    The really frustrating thing is that it appears to be an issue that’s been introduced at some point, rather than a fundamental hardware problem, so you’d really expect that it would have been fixed by now, especially as it seems to be an issue across all the x30 series devices.

    yesterday again , after 1:30 hours Radar start to disconnect, very annoying , no crash this time
