Garmine Edge 1030 changes from resistance to grade during ride

e.g. microwave, WiFi Access Points sending at 2.4GHz etc...

Edge 1030 problem and data reading from the trainer. I have that too, unfortunately. I checked with Fenix 6X and it had no problems, including proper trainer control (but quite slow).
Garmin - fix this error because it annoys you and forces you to use your smartphone and app to control the trainer instead of using the Edge!

1. I have the same issue w/ the 530. I opened a ticket over a month ago. Garmin claimed they only had one other person report it. I tested the unit on 3 other kickers amd it happened on all. I borrowed a new 530 and a 830. It didn’t occur w/either unit. I demanded a new 530 and Garmin sent one. It has been working fine until today. It keeps flipping yo grade every 2 min. I don’t see the sub menu that was referenced. Had anyone received an update on a fix?

Where have you reported? Me to the [email protected] software development department, but maybe it's worth reporting elsewhere ... It's definitely a software bug, as you can see not only the E1030, but also the rest of the x30. All in all, it's not surprising that the software throughout the series is pretty much the same.

I opened a ticket with Garmin. Of course, they claimed that only 2 people in the universe had this problem. They are taking no ownership of the problem or acknowledgment that it is their device. I tested the Whaoo kickr w/just their phone app and there were no issues at all, no drops of any kind. It's infuriating that no one will acknowledge the problem.

If we quote each other’s ticket to reply to own, it could rise the flag higher, I hope.

Where exactly are you reporting issues with Edge? I will let my friends know to join the whining about the erroneous operation of the E1030 with the trainers.
