cadence sensor not working

Brand new Garmin edge 1030 - Have now tried three batteries and no green light or red flashes and no cadence senior is found by the Garmin, the speed sensor if fine. Anyone had this issue

Yes alreadt tried this. There is just no life in the sensor.

I had delivery of a cadence sensor for another bike worked as soon as fiited no problems at all.

I am thinking garminneed tosend replacement…

What you can try:
- bend the two contacts a little, so that the contact is ensured.
- insert the battery upside down for a few seconds so that the contacts are short-circuited and a total discharge of the electronics results.
