As it is known, Strava live segments can automatically be triggered during a "navigated" ride only if course is synced from Strava. I have the following situation:
- have saved needed Strava segments on my device in FIT format and they are being perfectly triggered when I ride without courses;
- have no Summit status on Strava;
- segments in my Garmin Connect are switched to type "Garmin";
- upload courses on the device using Strava Routes IQ app.
When I previously had Summit status on Strava the device showed me remained distance to start of each segment on separate data screen and they were triggered during a "navigated" ride. But now this data screen just shows me the distance to the end of a segment and device doesn't detect the start of a segment and therefore doesn't activate the segment.
So the question, is it expected behavior? Do I need Summit Strava status for having possibility to follow a course and use live segments simultaneously? Thanks.
