Training Status suddenly changed after 8.00 update

Training Status suddenly changed after 8.00 update.

All the past activities does not have Primary Benefit (Low Aerobic, High Aerobic, or Anaerobic) information.

  • - So you are missing the historical Training Effect in your previous activities? Could you provide a screenshot?

  • I got a new VO2 max after updating to 8.00

71 VO2max for a 46yo, B grader who usually rides 5-6 hours per week, after a week off with gastro sounds spectacularly optimistic

  • Edge 1030 data

    Fenix 5 Data

While if I look at my Fenix 5 data they continue to be correct!

  • Same thing happened to me when I loaded the 7.87 beta. I’m not too worried about it, personally speaking. My personal awareness of PE and tends to mirror the numbers of the training status. It would appear that the 8.00 update (which first rolled out in beta) returned to a baseline, that will change over time with continued data collection, just like it did the first time any of us starting using a device that gave this kind of feedback. Give it 7-10 days and I bet it levels off and gets back to where you’d expect it.

  • Looking at last 7 days load

Edge 1030 (v8) is reporting Training Load 7 days as  365

    Looking at the 4 bike rides I did in history on Edge the load is (255 + 85 + 13 + 12) - Total 365

FR 935 (v14.10) is reporting Training Load 7 days as 298

Looking at the 4 bike rides I did in history on FR, I can see the same 4 rides are there (synced by True Up).  But the 935 is cacluating the Training Load Differently.  You can't see the individual training loads associated with the rides on the FR935 history.

V02 and Recovery Time are synced correctly but Training Load now calculating differently across devices since v8.00 update which will affect Training Status.

    Any comment Garmin?
