Tones

Hi

I generally have the tones turned off. However, i wish to have them turned on for instances where i'm off course. I thought i had this set up as such but with tones turned on i'm now getting beeps when i start/stop and when the battery goes into saving mode. Any idea where i'm going wrong?

The tone-switch is a global switch - means:
-off: you'll get no tones at all
-on: you'll get all sort of tones
(you cannot chose any state in between...)

I have made a different experience. Tones are switched off on my edge, but I’ll get a chirping noise when I leave the track and also when I switch to the big chain ring in the front of my connected Ultega DI 2 the edge warns me with a little beep. I have my di2 programmed to synchronized Shifting . I Kinda actually like that behavior.

Yes, you‘re right! I just checked it.
No tone on my device with exception of deviation - and this is not the „normal tone“ but a chirp - as you say.

You will likely need to do reset to get the sounds reset. One of the recent releases messed up the tone allocation on some units.
