I am unable to find any widget or app for Strava in Garmin Express.... is this because my device is listed as a 1030 Bontrager instead of a 1030? Maybe this specific name is not on the approved list of devices for the app or widget? I am lost and frustrated. Do yall see strava widgets and apps in garmin connect for your 1030?
Playing with this more I am sure the reason my Edge 1030 Bontrager unit is not linking to stuff is because the apps I need list the Edge 1030 as a compatible device but not the Edge 1030 Bontrager. I know its the same unit but garmin express will not let me see any app listing only the edge 1030. The apps I do see are apps specific to this Bontrager edition.
Thank you, I talked to Duncan this morning and it seems to be an issue on Strava's end where they do not have the Edge 1030 Bontrager listed as a compatible device. I emailed them about it so hopefully it will get updated.
You guys are great! I was cleaning my bike and got a call back from yall about a possible work around. Not only was I surprised to get a follow-up call but I was surprised someone was still thinking about how to fix this issue after my call ended. I'm glad to be a long time Garmin user and am happy to have picked a Garmin as my new cycling computer.
