Offloading Round-Trip Routes?

I find it impossible to evaluate a route generated by the round-trip routing feature using the maps and screen of the Edge (1000 or 1030). I would like to find a way to transfer those routes in a known file format ([FONT=courier new].tcx[/FONT] or [FONT=courier new].gpx[/FONT] etc.).

I tried having it generate some new routes then connecting the unit to my computer and looking at all the most recently modified files, but nothing jumped out as likely being the three newly created routes.

Can anybody offer any hints or suggestions?

I can do it on 1030.

Go to Courses, Create Course and then Save Course.
After that you can upload it to your computer (via Garmin Base Camp)

After searching for and selecting a round-trip course on the 1030, you can select the title bar at the top of the screen to save the course to the Saved Courses list.

Wow… I doubt I ever would have stumbled on that!

I suppose you’re going to tell me my Edge 1000 can do the same?
