1030 not recognized when plugging into computer and lots of other problems

A week or so a go my 1030 stoped being recognized when plugged in to the PC. I have tried 4 or 5 times to force the Edge into mass storage mode but it does not work.

Other problems I’m having...locking up, not syncing with iPhone 7, losing Polar heart rate H10 (Bluetooth), stress test not working.

any help would be great. Thanks

I'm having trouble with iPhone 7 Plus as well. There are bad Bluetooth bugs. I emailed support my error logs. I'm going to call the support number tomorrow as well.

You may have demaged PIN in microUSB slot of 1030. It might happen when you use non Garmin cable.

Have you tried a different cable? Be sure it's a cable rated for data and not just power.

Oddly enough, a shorter cable often works better than a longer one.

Also, plug directly into your computer ... not a USB hub.

yes plugging directly into the computer. Have tried 3 different cables...may go out and buy a new one and see if that helps. I have also tried different computers.

If you're having problems with different cables & computers, I would suggest contacting Garmin.

Ok...got the computer to recognize the 1030 again. Went out and bought a new cable for it.

Another new problem today. Went to go use the 1030 and it lost the heart rate sensor. Which it has happen many times no big deal just need to re-install. Tried to pair it again and now 1030 is telling me. I have to many sensor and I need to delete some. I have no other sensor pair to the 1030???

Are you trying to pair to the sensor using BLE or ANT? I have seen a report on another thread about the senor count being wrong when trying to add a BLE sensor.

That's correct and it happend to me when I tried to add more than one sensor at once, and one of them was a BLE (Wahoo Tickr).

If one adds the BLE sensor one by one, it works without problems.

It’s a Polar H10 so Bluetooth...I’m only trying to pair 1 sensors. I only have one senor the heart rate nothing else.

Also tried resetting factory settings and that didn’t help.
