Hide POI icons?

Is there a way to prevent the restaurant (or all POI) icons from displaying? In densely populated cities the map becomes saturated with icons. To the point that it obscures the roads and makes navigating difficult.

Thanks in advance for any advice/assistance.

Possibly similar to #2 of this post: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into...000-aa/157558- but with "Detail" set to "less" or "least"

FYI.. You can turn points of interest off.

Power on the Edge
Select the three bars in the bottom left
Select activity profiles
Select the activity profile you're using
Select Navigation
Select Map
Select Map Visibility
This is the tricky part, select map visibility mode auto (tap on the bar that says that)
Select custom
Select Text size
Select Map points
Select None
