After the last update that was, again the big arrow disappeared.
There have been all sorts of suggestions here in the past, but unfortunately they do not work now.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks

As noted in that discussion the default (blue) navigation location symbol has an outline border color of white which makes it appear even smaller, changing this to another color especially a new more prominent color the same as the body of the symbol does make it appear bigger. Given that Garmin is very unlikely to ever give an easier option on the 1030 (or other devices) than this is your only option
Good luck with your quest, we would all like Garmin to be better, they certainly have a lot of opportunities for improvement. Over the last 10+ years of having various Garmins every time I have got so annoyed by some feature or lack of a feature and have investigated straying from the Garmin path I find the alternatives all have some fatal flaw that would make them worse (IMO & for my type of usage). Currently I am pretty happy with my new 1040 (not so much with the price! but all the alternatives seem expensive as well)
