Assioma UNO pairing with Garmin Edge 1000

I have to fitted a new pair of Assioma Uno pedals to my bike but can’t pair them with my Garmin Edge 1000. The pedals are active (lights flashing) and I’ve tried to search for them but the Garmin doesn’t seem to be able to detect them. Also, on the list of sensors that you can add, there isn’t an option for Power. Ive turned all the other sensors off and I’ve watched a YouTube video of how to do it but it doesn’t seem to be working for me. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you might have the Edge Explore 1000. That does not support power. Not sure if it supports CIQ. If it does you might be able to add support using a COA app.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, very much appreciated. I do think the Edge 1000 supports power because the online manual suggests that it does. Also, I watched a YoutTube video of somone pairing the exact same pedals that I have with an Edge 1000. Also, Ive just been chatting with someone at Garmin who confirmed that it does. I am though struggling to pair them together.

Sorry I was wrong it does support power. I see it using build 9.50

Yes I did. I was wrong. The Garmin Edge 1000 didnt support power. I had to buy a new one and went for the Edge 830. All works perfectly now.

The Edge 1000 most certainly supports power, and always has - I've been using mine with three different power meters (including Assioma Duos for the past couple of years) and with a Tacx Neo since 2014. I can't comment on the Edge Explore, but from what aweatherall says, I'd guess that what you had was an Explore with pre-9.50.
