display screen has yellow patch on it

my screen has what i can only describe as a yellow smudge in the centre which is only visible when illuminated, any idea what this is and is there a cure

I have it since years...it's like a drop of water or something transparent like that! anyway, you can't solve the problem, it should be the normal detachment of the touch screen layers due to the age and temperature, for instance ride hours-summer-35 degrees..day after day it can happens..
